CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Commissioner Bud Selig is holding a press conference Wednesday and is expected to announce that Cincinnati is getting the 2015 All-Star game.

It would be the city's first since 1988.

Selig is also appearing to promote Major League Baseball's latest urban youth academy.

A story first reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer, a source told FOX19 late Monday night Wednesday's press conference is as much about the All-Star Game announcement as it is the Urban Youth Academy.

The Reds have been trying to acquire the All-Star game since they opened Great American Ball Park in 2003. They hosted the game twice at Riverfront Stadium - two weeks after its opening in 1970 and again in 1988.

The 1970 game featured Pete Rose bowling over Indians catcher Ray Fosse to score the winning run.

New York's Citi Field will host in 2013 and an American League city will get the game in 2014.
