Some Henderson students were in the crowd at Monday's inauguration.

93 students from the Henderson school system were among the thousands of people bundled up and packed into the audience area Monday afternoon on the National Mall.

Those students even got a little national exposure when they appeared live on CNN after the ceremony.

The students along with 10 adults are there on a school trip. They left Henderson on Wednesday and are on their way back home Monday night.

Some of the students tell 14 News that witnessing a president take the oath of office in person is an experience they'll never forget.

"It was like just people as far as the eye could see. I was very shocked about that. Like, I've never seen that many people before in my life," student Kaelin Hildreth said.

Student Cassidy Carroll told 14 News, "I could see the capitol building fine and the screens helped us to see the people, but I was crazy about the view. It was great!
