A heads up for Evansville Water and Sewer customers: soon your bill is going to look a little different.
The postcard will now feature the utility's new modernized logo and different colors of ink.
This change is coming because the utility's updated from their old system they'd been using for 20 or more years.
This is all putting customers a step closer to being able to pay their bills online.
"As customers see changes in the bills they're receiving today, that's just kind of the tip of the iceberg," said Director of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility Allen Mounts. "It's really the change in the computer application that we're using that will move us into the new age, so to speak."
Online bill pay is still a few months off, this summer or early fall.
There will also be a change in the billing schedule for some customers beginning next month, mostly business and industrial accounts.
It could mean January and February bills come within days of each other.
If you have any questions about these changes, get in touch with the Water and Sewer Utility.
