EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

In their biggest win of the season so far, the Evansville Purple Aces knocked off the 23rd ranked Wichita State Shockers with a score of 71-67.

With more than 5,000 fans looking on Sunday afternoon at the Ford Center, the Ace posted their 4th straight win to improve to 11 and 6, but more importantly they tied the Shockers for 2nd place in the Missouri Valley Conference with a record of 4 and 1.

Evansville heads to the road to face Drake on Wednesday.

Wichita State undoubtedly will drop back out of the top-25, and now sits at 15 and 2 overall, 4-and 1 in the MVC.
