Evansville Police have identified a suspect in a robbery Saturday at the Fifth Third Bank on First Avenue.
Police say they believe 33-year-old Gary Wayne Snelling walked into bank just before noon Saturday.
Officers say he passed a note to a teller demanding money. Police say he implied he had a weapon, but never showed one.
Police say Snelling left the bank with an undetermined amount of money.
"We know he left the bank and went across the parking lot toward the CVS and Barbecue Shack on foot," said EPD PIO Sgt Jason Cullum. "We had some people that were outside CVS that saw a vehicle before the robbery that caught their attention but were not sure if that vehicle is involved."
Police say Snelling does not have a permanent address. If you have any information on where he might be, call Evansville Police.
