Rain, Rain, Go Away

Rain will clear out of here today following torrential downpours overnight, but it won't stay gone for long. It's back for the weekend on Saturday. Byron will have more on that, plus overnight totals coming up on Sunrise.

Power Outages

Vectren's online outage center is reporting some power outages this morning in Evansville and Mount Vernon.

More Deaths

The number of flu-related deaths continues to grow in Indiana. It's at epidemic levels in some parts of the country. Details coming up on Sunrise.

Karzai Meeting

Afghan president Hamid Karzai will meet with President Obama at the White House today. It's a momentous visit as the withdrawal of U.S. and NATO troops approaches.

Gun Talks

We'll have an update on talks to curb gun violence with Vice President Biden and gun owner groups. Recommendations will be presented to the president next week.

Topping Out

Alyssa will be live in Owensboro with details on today's topping out ceremony at the new Owensboro Convention Center. You're invited to sign the final beam.

Monster Jam

Emily's talking big trucks this morning as performers prepare for this weekend's Monster Jam event. She's live at the Ford Center.

    Mayor Lloyd Winnecke says a group met with a project consultant and some think Roberts Park might be the perfect location. There's plenty of space and with other sporting facilities near the site, could be used to attract out of town swimming tournaments.
