Easter Seals officials announced at a press conference Wednesday, January 9 that tickets are now available for the 22nd annual Easter Seals Home Run Sweeps ALL CA$H Raffle.  Organizers also announced a change in raffle dates this year: Home Run Sweeps ALL CA$H Raffle tickets (which are typically available in the summer) will be sold January 9-March 7; Cool Car, Cold Cash ticket sales (which usually begin in January) will begin in May.

Easter Seals introduced new 2013 local Child Representative, Kamree Anderson, age 13, daughter of Bryan and Shirley Anderson of Evansville; and Adult Representative, Craig Doninger, 40, also of Evansville. In their first appearance as Easter Seals' volunteer spokespersons, Kamree and Craig helped kick off the raffle, which offers a grand prize of $100,000 CASH plus four other cash prizes: One 2nd prize of $10,000… one 3rd prize of $5,000… and two 4th place prizes of $1,000 each.

As always, all Home Run Sweeps ALL CA$H Raffle proceeds will stay local to help Easter Seals change lives for tri-state children and adults with disabilities. A maximum of 3,000 raffle tickets are available for $100 each until just before the drawing at noon on March 7. To purchase tickets:

•Call 812-492-0667 or 812-437-2607.

•Visit the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, 3701 Bellemeade Ave., Evansville, Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm.

•Visit Milestones, 621 S. Cullen Ave., Evansville, Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm.

•Print and mail an order form available at www.eastersealswindiana.com

On March 7 at noon, all sold tickets will be entered in the Home Run Sweeps ALL CA$H Raffle drawing at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center to determine 5 finalists who will win at least $1,000 each. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win. A March 14th "key ceremony" in the organization's therapy gym will determine the finalists' prizes.

All Home Run Sweeps ALL CA$H Raffle proceeds will provide therapy for children and adults with disabilities at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, which serves approximately 5,630 individuals from a 30-county area of southwestern Indiana, southern Illinois, and western Kentucky. Last year's Home Run Sweeps ALL CA$H Raffle sold 2,356 tickets and raised $113,397.  This year's goal is to surpass last year's results and sell all 3,000 tickets.  In the first 21 years of the Sweeps, this event has raised $2,490,450 to underwrite therapy.
