WEBSTER CO., KY (WFIE) -
Kentucky State Police responded to the scene of fatal crash in Webster County Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Springer Curry Road and Kentucky 132 near Dixon, Wednesday afternoon.
The Sheriff's office says 65-year-old Doris Elaine Martin, of Marion, died at the scene.
They say Martin's car went off the right side of the road as she was driving east on Kentucky 132 at around 12:30.
Martin overcorrected, went into a skid and spun 90 degrees, hitting the guardrail.
They say Martin was wearing a seat belt.
The road was shut down for about three hours while emergency crews worked the accident scene.
