SWIRCA is needing volunteer help for 2013.
They say there's volunteer jobs for anyone and everyone, big and small.
SWIRCA has twenty-six meal sites and they feed thousands of people every day.
They're in need of volunteers for those meal sites and for other jobs like answering phones and fitness activities.
JoElle Knight with SWIRCA says they look for all types of people, from those who want to volunteer all the time to those who can only spare a few hours a week.
"As a non profit agency and especially with funding cut from the state we don't have the funds to hire large staff and groups or department so we fill those positions with dedicated volunteers that spend their time helping us and giving themselves something productive to do if they're retired or if they want to give back to the community. We have opportunities where we just need someone for a couple hours in the morning or we have committees they can be on to help plan an event if they only have a certain couple months that they're free during the year or if they just have one day a week they can come," said JoElle.
