MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Myrtle Beach High School alum and athlete for the University of Kentucky is facing charges for carrying a gun on school property.

On Friday, 19-year-old Timothy Jevon "T.J." Jones was arrested by Myrtle Beach Police and charged with a weapon law violation.

The incident report states that on Dec. 18, police investigated a weapon law violation at Myrtle Beach High on Robert Grissom Parkway.

The "possible incident that occurred in the locker room" was reported three days later, but the details on the conclusion of the investigation resulting in Jones' arrest were not available.

Jones' bio on the University of Kentucky athletics website says he is a freshman offensive tackle for the Wildcats.
