COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

South Carolina Gamecock junior quarterback Connor Shaw and freshman linebacker Cedrick Cooper are recovering after surgery on Friday.

Shaw went under the knife to repair his left foot. The quarterback injured the foot during the Tennessee game back on Oct. 27. While he had a month to recover from the injury, Shaw re-aggravated the foot at the Outback Bowl.

Cooper, meanwhile, had surgery on his left knee that he injured during the bowl mini-camp just before Christmas.

Cooper and Shaw are expected to make a full recovery, but both are not expected to participate in spring practice.
