Tri-State man a finalist in Katie Couric's 'Hottest Husband' contest

A Tri-State man needs your help to earn some pretty big bragging rights.  He's in the running for the title of 'Hottest Husband.'

Dave Huffman, the webmaster at Deaconess Hospital, was nominated for Katie Couric's Hot Husband Twitter contest by his wife Shawnda, a local radio personality.

He's made it all the way to the top three and will be flying with his wife to New York City next week for a taping of the show.

To win, Dave needs more online votes. Dave says he was embarrassed about the nomination at first, and even tried to get out of it, but now he's embraced all the attention.

"The only thing that was making it awkward for me was the whole 'hot' thing, the whole hottest husband thing because it just feels so, like something I didn't really earn, you know what I mean?" Dave said. "But the other half of the whole judging has to do with the relationship of, between my wife and I, and that's something I take very seriously. So, once I started looking at it in that light it was easier to accept."
