EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

We are hearing from employees of Stoney's in Downtown Evansville Wednesday night.

They say the night club is closing, effective immediately.

We do not have official word from Stoney's, but the website is not active, and there is no answer by telephone. We did call the corporate office in Las Vegas and they tell us there is no comment at this time.

One employee who works weekends tells 14 News he was notified Wednesday by telephone of the closing.

We will of course continue to keep you posted.
