LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) – Two teenagers
were shot outside a Lexington nightclub during a New Year's Eve party Monday night.
Lexington Police said a group of
people got into an argument at the party at Monlu on Village Drive and went outside where 10 to 15 shots
were fired. A 16-year-old was shot in the chest. A 15-year-old suffered a
gunshot wound to the hand. The teens were taken to a
hospital where doctors said both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A witness said the argument was over money.
Monlu's owner said he's had enough and is ready to sell his nightclub and move out of the area.
