OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Get Movin' is a free event to challenge you and up to ten of your friends to stay active throughout the winter and early spring.

The goal of the challenge is to participate in 30 minutes of physical activity every day, then record your minutes online each week.

"It's also important to exercise and eating healthy to reduce the risk of disease, heart disease. There are a number of disease that can be preventable or reduce the risk for simply by exercising," OHMS manager, Isaac Coffey said.
