EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Several car accidents due to black ice, shut down part of the Lloyd Expressway near Green River Road on Saturday night.

Officials say one vehicle hit the ice, over corrected and slid into a ditch. A second vehicle also lost control and hit a median.

No one was hurt. That portion of the Lloyd was closed for about an hour until INDOT crews could arrive to treat the pavement.
