It seems as if their Inaugural Holiday Classic was just the spark the Albany Titans basketball team needed to jump start their season. After beating Middle Georgia Tech Friday night, the Titans beat up on Alabama Southern 83-67 in the final game of the night. Antwon Tuff led the way with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Tony Fears added 12 points.

High School Basketball

In high School basketball, the Coffee boys beat Turner County in the Ronalda Pierce Hoopfest Championship 65-51.  The Coffee girls beat Americus-Sumter 59-48 also winning the championship.

In the third place games, it was the Lowndes boys over Wilcox Co. 61-58 and the Lowndes girls over Turner County 49-43.
