DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE) -

Kentucky State Police say that five people from the Owensboro area have been arrested on various drug charges. 

Troopers say they responded to the CVS Pharmacy on KY 54 in Owensboro where a suspicious man was reported to be in the store attempting to buy pseudoephedrine.

Authorities found the suspicious man along with two other males and two females in the parking lot of the store.

The names of those arrested are: Gretafene Collins, Darrell L. Moore, Brenda L. McMahan, Ozzy L. Johnston, and Michael I. Petro.

Upon investigation, a search of their vehicle revealed items used to manufacture methamphetamine, along with a precursor to manufacture meth and drug paraphernalia.

All five were taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.
