Officials advising caution when out on the roads

Many Tri-State counties were out early Saturday morning clearing the night's snow from the roadways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews in all our Tri-State Kentucky counties were out Saturday morning treating the roads helping travelers get where they need to be safely.

KYTC officials say most roads wet and travelers are advised to use extreme caution when out driving Saturday mornings. 

At last update, KYTC says Webster Counties has partially covered roads, and crews will continue working until the temperature rises to improve driving conditions.

Motorists should continue to be cautious due to slushy spots that may still be out there.

INDOT officials say that the roads are clearing nicely and their crews are wrapping up. They say they are going to continue to watch for slick spots and refreezing as the day continues.

Indiana State Police says main roadways are mainly wet with scattered slick spots. Secondary roadways range from wet to snow covered.
