Following the blizzard on Wednesday, Pike, Posey, Wabash, and Gibson declared "State of Emergencies."
As of Thursday afternoon Gibson Counties still had that distinction. Pike County was lifted at 8 a.m., Posey and Wabash were lifted Thursday afternoon.
The Gibson County Sheriff has issued a statement saying the distinction will continue for them through Saturday Night.
And, he says, stay off the roads: "Unless otherwise notified, the State of Emergency in Gibson County CONTINUES until Saturday night.
There are still many slick spots and snow covered roadways throughout the county.
Please stay off the roads if at all possible. If you don't need to get out, then please stay home. Work crews are doing their best to clear the roads.
If you absolutely must travel, have a fully charged and operational cell phone with you so you can call for help if needed. Be sure to have a blanket, and a small supply of food and water in case it takes a while for help to arrive."
We'll continue to call and report on the road condition of these counties online and on the air as long as necessary.
