Residents in tornado-stricken Moore, OK, await news on missing love ones Tuesday, a day after a massive tornado devastated the city, killing at least 51. Rescuers worked all night, with particular attention
The tornado, with winds up to 200 mph, cut a 20-mile stretch as wide as two miles through the Oklahoma City metro area. The medical examiner's office reported 24 people died, including nine children.

With snow in the forecast, Tri-State highway departments are already making plans to keep the road-ways safe.

The Vanderburgh County Road Department has not pre-treated any of its roads because officials say they expect rain before the snow hits.

The rain, they say, would just wash the treatment away. However, officials say they are making sure all of their trucks are loaded with sand and salt.

"We will monitor that. From what I understand, it's going to be late Tuesday. So, we'll make some determinations probably tomorrow morning as to whether or not we're going to pre-treat or not," said Mike Duckworth with the Vanderburgh County Highway Department.

Duckworth says his department receives hour-by-hour weather updates. So, he says his crews will be able to get a head start on any snowfall before it approaches.
