Guilty verdict returned in attack on Posey County deputy
Authorities say McManomy slashed a deputy in the face, after stabbing himself in the throat.

A Posey County jury has convicted Brandon McManomy for attempted murder in the slashing of a deputy trying to arrest him on a rape warrant out of Murray, Kentucky.
Authorities say McManomy slashed the deputy in the face with a knife after stabbing himself in the throat in February of last year. Sentencing will be in January. McManomy was found guilty on all counts...attempted murder, aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
