BRANDENBURG, KY (WAVE) – Student and staff were evacuated from Meade County High School after a threat was made Tuesday.
According to parents that have contacted WAVE3, the threat was about a bomb in the building. One parent tells WAVE 3 this is the second straight day a bomb threat has been made against the school.
Students were evacuated to the school's football field while the building was searched. From Air 3, at least Kentucky State Police troopers with dogs were scene at on the school grounds, along with local law enforcement personnel.
Upon hearing the news, many parents rushed to the school to pick up their kids. The parents were directed to the nearby school bus depot to get their children.
At last report, nothing has been found in the building.
