Passengers at Evansville Regional Airport will see some big changes next month.

Four jet bridges are being installed at the gates.

In the past, passengers had to walk out to the tarmac and go up stairs to board their flights, but this isn't the first time the airport has used a jet bridge.

"We had a jet bridge in the past, and it was owned by US Airways. When they went through bankruptcy and pulled out of the Evansville market, they took the jet bridges with them. But nowadays, airports provide the jet bridges and we are really excited to be getting them back," Dianna Page with EVV said.
