A man convicted in the 2009 abduction of an Owensboro girl is sentenced Monday.
Archie Whalen, of Maine, was sentenced to 360 months in prison, 10 years supervised release and will have to pay a $100 special penalty assessment fee.
Whalen was found guilty in July of transporting a minor across state lines to engage in criminal sexual activity.
The disappearance of the 13-year-old victim triggered a nationwide amber alert.
Police say they found Whalen and the girl in a hotel parking lot in Wisconsin.
