HENDERSON CO, KY (WFIE) -

Authorities are hoping that a surveillance picture from a local convenience store can help them find the man responsible for an armed robbery.

A little after 3 A.M. on Tuesday morning, the man entered the Kangaroo Express on Garden Mile Road in Henderson.

He grabbed a bag of chips and approached the counter. He showed a handgun and demanded money and Cigarellos.

He drove off in a gray car. Witnesses described it as similar to a 90's model Lincoln Town car. It was driven by a heavy-set older white man, and there was another person in the front passenger seat of the car.

The robbery suspect is described as a white man between 20 and 25 years old, with a think build. He was wearing a gray jacket with black sleeves, black pants, black tennis shoes, and a black L.A. Raider toboggan.

If you have any information you can call Henderson Police Department at (270)831-1295.
