O'boro man arrested on multiple child porn charges

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

An Owensboro man is headed to court facing more than 100 counts of possessing child pornography.

That man is 33-year-old Nicholas Williams.

He's expected to face a Daviess County judge Friday and in case you were keeping count, it's the 6th child porn related arrest since October in the tri-state.

14 News was there Thursday when Kentucky State Police arrested Williams at his West 7th Street home in Owensboro.

Investigators say Williams will also be charged with at least five counts of distributing child porn.

Troopers credit new technology with today's arrest. 

"No one was more surprised than us to when we looked at the date coming from this computer system and actually showing how many people are actually in possession or distributing child pornography," said Corey King, KSP.

Williams bond will be set Friday in court.
