Sunny Blast of Cool

Most of the area saw a soaking rain on Tuesday, with amounts ranging from near 1/2 inch to nearly an inch over the southeastern counties.  As the cold front migrates east, cooler & drier air will filter in.  Some patchy fog may develop early this morning, but sunshine will burn that off by mid-morning. Byron will have the complete 14 First Alert forecast.

Fatal Shooting Update

Autopsy results show a Vanderburgh County man died of multiple gunshot wounds after being shot by two sheriff's deputies.  Investigators say the deputies used a stun gun to try and subdue 55 year old Lindal Johnson, and fired in self-defense when Johnson threw a hatchet at them.
