Illinois State Police say they have now arrested two "dangerous persons of interest".

Troopers say they arrested 41-year-old John L. Cunningham and 43-year-old Janet S. Cunningham of Windsor, Illinois at the Mortons Gap Pilot Truck Stop. They were wanted by Illinois authorities for aggravated battery, armed robbery, and vehicle theft.

On Monday, a shooting was reported in Johnson County, Illinois.  Based on witness statements, two people are believed to be involved in the shooting of a man, who has since been treated and released from the hospital.

The couple was located at the truck stop inside the stolen vehicle.  They were arrested without incident.

The Cunningham's were transported to the Hopkins County Jail where they were lodged and charged with Fugitive from Justice.
