EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville police are now left trying to find the original owners of thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods.

36-year-old Anthony B. Ulm has been arrested and accused of stealing from vehicles.

Law enforcement from both the Evansville Police Department and Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office say they observed Ulm remove items from another vehicle on Boeke Road near the Lloyd Expressway over the weekend.

After searching a home on Mcutchan Road and Ulm's home on Taft Avenue, authorities say they found tens of thousands of dollars in suspected stolen items.

Ulm is in jail on three counts of theft but more charges are likely to be filed.

He was on work release from Warrick County at the time of his arrest.

Ulm was also arrested in March of 2010 for manufacturing and possession of meth.
