NEW ALBANY, IN (WFIE) -

Indiana utility officials have fined Vectren North $100,000 and ordered the company to make safety improvements after a natural gas explosion destroyed a New Albany home.

Six people were hurt in that blast last year.

Vectren North's parent company is Evansville based Vectren Corporation.

Vectren says they take full responsibility for the blast.
