HOUSTON, TX (KLTV) - Former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized in Houston after being treated for bronchitis, according to his spokesman Jim McGrath.

McGrath says that President Bush has been at the hospital for six days and has been cured of his bronchitis, but it still in the hospital because of a 'lingering cough'.

McGrath says the family hopes that President Bush, 88, with be discharged by the weekend.
