Hoosier Lottery officials say Indiana retailers sold two tickets that just missed on winning a share of the giant Powerball jackpot.
While the two winning tickets for the estimated $580 million jackpot were sold in Arizona and Missouri, two tickets sold in Indiana are worth $1 million each.
Lottery officials say those tickets were sold at convenience stores in Vincennes and Highland. Those tickets matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number.
One ticket was purchased at United PSM at 601 Wheatland Road in Vincennes while the other ticket was purchased at Highland Citgo at 8317 Kennedy Avenue in Highland
In Kentucky there was one ticket sold that matched all five of the white balls drawn but not the Powerball. The ticket was sold at the Five Star Food Mart #7676 at 10306 US Highway 42 in Prospect KY, located just outside of Louisville.
The numbers drawn Wednesday night are: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6.
