Hopkins County -

A Hopkins County woman is dead after a train hit her car in Earlington.

It happened around 10 Wednesday night at the West Moss Avenue crossing.

Authorities say a southbound CSX train struck a 1997 Pontiac driven by 26-year-old Keisha D. Young of Madisonville.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.

There are no crossing arms at that intersection.
