ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -

Police in Rock Hill say a Thanksgiving argument turned into a fight after a woman says her girlfriend attacked her with an ironing board.

A Rock Hill woman says her girlfriend attacked her with an ironing board after the two got into a Thanksgiving Day argument over a missing personal item.

According to a Rock Hill police report, officers were called to an apartment along Hardin Street around 12:35 p.m. on Thursday to the report of an assault.

A 28-year-old woman told officers that her 24-year-old girlfriend had attacked her with an ironing board after the pair argued.

The woman said her girlfriend was looking for her sex toy and couldn't find it. She reportedly became angry with the woman.

"The two argued for several minutes, when [her girlfriend] threw an ironing board at [her]," the report states.

The victim say's her girlfriend's brother came into the room and held her while she continued being attacked.  She told officers that she was sore from the attack, but refused medical treatment.

The woman's girlfriend told officers that the two did argue, but says she threw the ironing board to the ground - not at the victim, according to police.

That's when she says the two "engaged in mutual combat in the apartment," according to the report.

The report noted that the girlfriend had a cut finger, but said she didn't know how it happened.

After police did a background search on the two women, the girlfriend had active warrants from the Fort Lawn Police Department in Chester County.  She was arrested and was slated to be turned over to Fort Lawn Police.
