OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

We're only about six months away from major health care changes in Owensboro and OMHS officials are holding another special public meeting tonight to try and make the transition as seamless as possible.

Tonight's presentation will take place at the Dugan Best Neighborhood Alliance meeting at 6 p.m.

If you missed the one that was held two weeks ago at the old Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance meeting, here's how the presentation works.

Steve Johnson will make the presentation on behalf of the hospital.

He's the executive director for community, governmental, and legislative affairs.

There have been lots of changes with the hospital recently like the Parrish Campus redevelopment announcement back in September and the official name change approval.

If you missed that, OMHS will become Owensboro Health once it moves to its new location next year.

That date is quickly approaching, we're only about six months away.

The good news is that you don't have to be a member of the Dugan Best Neighborhood Alliance to attend.

Anyone who has questions about any of the changes the hospital has undergone recently is more than welcome to attend.
