Cavaliere Island Mount Range Hoods Are on Sale at Warehouse USA

Cavaliere offers seven models of island mount stainless steel range hoods.

Island mount, Cavaliere range hoods are made out of 19 gauge stainless steel that comes in a satin finish. The range hoods are electronically controlled with multiple, pre-programmed functions and they are equipped with dimmable halogen lights. They can be vented through ducts to the outside or with a use of a recirculation kit and a set of charcoal filters, the hoods can recirculate air within the room. The standard ceiling height for installation is a maximum of 9 feet, however there are extension kits available for 10, 11, and 12 foot high ceilings. The extension kits are specific to particular types of the hoods, thus they cannot by mixed and matched freely. A potential buyer needs to pay a close attention to the model number of the range hood and the extension kit designed for it, especially while buying the extension kit separately from the range hood. The pictures of the extension kits are deceivingly similar to one another, thus a mistake can be easily made. That’s why it is advisable to check the model number with a technical support before a purchase is made directly on-line. Traditional canopy range hoods have two models: 30 inch wide, and 36 inch wide:

  •      SV218B2-I30 is a 30 inch wide by 24 inch deep island mount model with an overall height ranging from 31 1/8” to 43 1/8” (the difference in height is achieved thanks to the telescopic chimney). Its overall height is an important element in determining if an extension is necessary by measuring the distance between the cooktop and the ceiling minus 43 1/8” (maximum extension). If the distance is 31” or less then no extension is necessary. This hood uses a standard 120V electric line; the motor’s wattage use is a maximum of 218W. There are 6 pre-set speeds with a timer function. The maximum airflow is 900 cubic feet per minute. The noise level ranges from 25 dB to 56 dB which can be translated as a noise ranging from a quiet conversation (25 dB) to a normal conversation (around 60 dB). The electronic panel uses a blue LED display.

  • SV218B2-I36 is a 36 inch wide model with all other characteristics identical as the model above.

Glass canopy line of range hoods offers two models: 30 and 36 inch wide:
    

  • SV218D-I30 is 30 inch wide by 24 inch deep with an overall height ranging from 27 ¼” to 43”. The main body of the range hood is made out of 19 gauge stainless steel; the canopy is made out of cleared tempered glass. This model uses the same type of motor as the model above with a capability of 900 cubic feet per minute airflow; the control buttons are touch sensitive and the panel display uses a blue LED lighting. The hood has also four 35W dimmable halogen lights that help to illuminate the working area beneath. It uses a 6” round duct vent.

-SV218D-I36 is a 36 inch wide model with the same characteristics as the above 30” model.

The last style of Cavaliere island mount range hoods is a “square canopy” which comes in three sizes: 36”, 42”, and 48” wide:
    

  • SV218Z2-I36 is 36 inch wide by 24 inch deep with an overall height ranging from 25 ½” to 42 ½”.

The overall characteristics of this line of range hoods are the same as in the models above. The square canopy range hoods are designed to cover a larger area beneath the canopy than the traditional or glass canopy styles listed above. SV218Z2-I42 has a 42” wide canopy and SV218Z2-I48 has a 48” wide canopy.
