It's a scary accident that could have been much worse.
Around noon on Wednesday afternoon, a 2 year old and his family were leaving the Subway on Covert Avenue in Evansville.
He saw his grandfather across the parking lot, and began to run towards him. At the same time, a Subway employee began backing out of her parking place.
She hit the little boy, and backed over him.
When paramedics arrived they discovered the boy possibly had broken leg, but no other major injuries.
An EPD officer said "she had no chance" to avoid him; so no charges are expected.
