Hundreds gather for Kentucky teen's memorial service

Hundreds of people have gathered at a northeastern Kentucky football field to honor the memory of a 15-year-old boy who died in a hunting accident.

Police say they found the body of Ricky Dean Hamilton Jr. on Tuesday in a quarry after a three day search. They think he fell from a cliff.

Police say he went deer hunting with his father Saturday afternoon and the two split up with a plan to meet later at a specific area. The teenager never arrived.

WKYT-TV reports that nearly 600 people attended the vigil Tuesday night at the Fleming County High School football field, where students were still having a hard time dealing with the tragedy.

Many said they came out to show support the teen's family.
