The Auburn Tigers returned to the football practice field Monday afternoon, continuing to prepare for Saturday's regular-season finale at No. 2 Alabama with a 90-minute workout in shells. This is the 77th renewal of the Iron Bowl rivalry; the game will be televised by CBS with a 2:30 CT kickoff.

"We all understand about this rivalry," said Auburn head coach Gene Chizik. "This game is always decided by playing with effort, with pride and with fight."

The Iron Bowl will also be the final collegiate game for 13 Auburn seniors: Daren Bates, T'Sharvan Bell, DeAngelo Benton, Emory Blake, Jonathan Evans, Philip Lutzenkirchen, Onterio McCalebb, Ikeem Means, Anthony Morgan, Ashton Richardson, Travante Stallworth, John Sullen and Jamar Travis. They come into the contest with a career record of 33-18.
