UNION CO., KY (WFIE) -

In Union County on Monday, an Owensboro man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing an accident that killed one person and injured three others.

Last month, 55-year-old Keith Kingsley was convicted of reckless homicide, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and being a persistent felony offender.

The accident happened in February 2011 on Highway 360 near Uniontown.

State police say Kingsley's pickup truck crossed the center line and hit 18-year-old Cody Vaughn's car. The crash killed Vaughn and injured Kingsley as well as passengers in both vehicles.
