Police are searching for the suspect in a shooting that happened Saturday night at the Circle K off Washington Avenue and Friday night, a video of the shooting, posted online, could help authorities identify the shooter.

The video of Saturday night's fight and subsequent shooting can be found on YouTube.

Police are hoping the video could help lead to an arrest.

That video, titled 'Meanwhile, At The Zoo,' it appears some young people were driving around the gas station, and decided to film the fight with a cell phone.

At about 40 seconds in, a gun shot can be clearly heard, and it can clearly be seen that everyone involved in the altercation, scatter.

Saturday night, we spoke to police who were processing the scene at the Circle K and they said they did not have a suspect and weren't aware of a victim in this case.

A witness we spoke to Sunday, says he saw and heard much of what happened, and is thankful for his safety during this situation.

"I'm pro-guns, but we should handle it in a way where it's not promoting violence," said Donovan Phipps. "So, I believe that the situation that went on yesterday could've been avoided. Yet again, things like that happen and we just have to make sure that everyone stays safe and secure."

Donovan Phipps says he did not wish to comment on who he thinks was involved in the shooting, for fear of his own personal safety.

An Evansville Police Sergeant we spoke to Sunday says he isn't sure if EPD has viewed the video yet, but he assures us they will.
