A new, winter themed, festival kicks off in Greenville, Kentucky Friday night.

It's called 'Snow-vember' and the event features a 37-foot inflatable toboggan slide.

Residents will also be able get their picture taken while inside a life size snow globe.

Organizers say this is the first year for the event, and they wanted to offer something new and fun for the community.

"We want to make Greenville a unique destination, a different place," said Greenville Tourism Director Beth Newman. "We want people to want to come here just for the day and this was a great way we thought to do it. It's 37-feet high and it's just a lot of fun and we're so glad to have it."

Snow-vember goes through Sunday. To find out more information, click here.
