Evansville Police say a Vectren employee has been arrested on four counts of theft.

Officers say Christopher Brian Crowe is accused of ordering numerous pieces of commercial computer equipment from a Vectren supplier and arranging for the equipment to be delivered off site to another property owned by Vectren, where he would then pick it up.

Police say the equipment is valued at $190,000 and cannot be located. They say the items ordered may have been sold to an unsuspecting business or supplier.

If anyone has any information about Crowe or the missing equipment, you are asked to contact the Evansville Police Department Adult Investigative Unit at 436-7981.
