A big announcement was released in Warrick County on Monday.

Ivy Tech will be offering ten classes at Castle High School for Warrick County residents.

These will be general education classes beginning this spring.

Ivy Tech Chancellor Dan Schnek says Ivy Tech is the most affordable school in the state and having classes in Warrick County should make it even more affordable with less travel time.

"Warrick County is the second largest county in our ten county service area, so this is really us reaching to about 13 percent of the population in our regional service area," Schnek told 14 News.

The classes will be offered Tuesday and Thursday nights.

There will be registration sessions at Castle on November 27, December 13th, January 8th, and January 10th.

Students can meet with an advisor and register for classes on those dates.
