Owensboro Community and Technical College, Brescia University and Caritas College of Social Work came together today to sign a memorandum of understanding.
It expands the current partnership that exists between the institutions.
Some students from Caritas, which is located in the Czech Republic, were on hand for today's ceremony.
They say it's important for local students to study abroad and gain some new perspectives.
"They can get a lot of experiences. Maybe get an inspiration for the work here. That's what we do now when staying here," said visiting student Vanda Lazecka.
The ceremony took place this morning in O-C-T-C's administration building.
Because O-C-T-C is not a residential campus, Brescia has played a big role in housing international students during their time in the United States.
