Officials with The Indiana Department of Transportation said a portion of U.S. 231 is scheduled to close Monday in Jasper.
Crews are deep-patching a section of the roadway.
The closure runs from State Road 64 to State Road 56.
Officials say the road is scheduled to reopen to traffic by the end of the day on Friday, November 16, weather permitting.
Local residents have access to the point of closure.
The official detour includes State Road 64, State Road 257 and State Road 56.
