A strong cold front will continue to bring rain to the tri-state overnight, and there's a chance we could wake-up to a rain/snow mix. This would be the first snowfall of the season, although no accumulation is expected.
You may remember last winter we had very little snow, only 1/2 inch officially recorded during the entire season. From 1981 to 2010, the tri-state has averaged 12.1 inches of snow all winter, so the 2011-2012 season was very unusual.
Jeff Lyons will have his prediction on how much snow the tri-state will get this winter on Monday's 14 News at 10.
