LOUISVILLE—The Continental Indoor Football has released the 2013 schedule for the Kentucky Xtreme, which will play its home games at Louisville's Freedom Hall.

The team will open its inaugural campaign Sunday, Feb. 17, at 4 p.m., vs. the defending CIFL champion Saginaw Sting.

After a bye week, the team will play Friday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m., at Freedom Hall against the Pikeville-based Kentucky Drillers.

The Xtreme then will travel to Owensboro, Sunday, March 9, to face the Rage at 7 p.m. The following Friday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m., the two teams will square off again, at Freedom Hall.

The Xtreme then will begin a four-game road swing that includes tilts against the Detroit Thunder (Sunday, March 24 at 4 p.m.), the Marion Blue Racers (Saturday, March, 30 at 7 p.m.) the Erie Explosion (Sunday, April 7, 2 p.m.), and the Dayton Sharks (Sunday, April 14 at 4 p.m.).

The team will return home Sunday, April 21, at 4 p.m., to face the Marion Blue Racers. The Xtreme will wrap up the regular season at Freedom Hall Saturday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m., against the Dayton Sharks.
