A traffic alert for drivers in Henderson, and it's good news.
Stratman Road/Wolf Hills will be open for traffic Friday morning, and it will remain open until Spring.
Stratman Road was once called one of the most dangerous in Henderson County, and at least part of it's makeover is now finished.
Crews have removed trees, added shoulders and removed part of a hillside that used to be part of a blind curve. A section of the road is also being elevated to prevent flooding.
In the Spring, the road will be shut down again to finish the top coat of paving.
